Dosage
Take two 250mg Tongkat Ali capsules and two 200mg Cistanche capsules daily, ideally in the morning.

It's usually best to take Tongkat Ali with food in the morning. Some individuals feel nauseous when taking Tongkat Ali on an empty stomach due to rapid absorption or gastrointestinal irritation.
Cistanche can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. However, the impact of food on supplement absorption is often unpredictable as different compounds within food can interact with the supplement in different ways.

What is Cistanche
Cistanche is a herb that's used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat impotence, female infertility and chronic kidney disease. Our Cistanche uses a plant called Cistanche tubulosa. The plant is grown in the Taklamakan Desert in the northwestern region of China, as well as similar arid regions of countries such as Iran, India and Mongolia. It lacks chlorophyll and is known as a parasitic herb - meaning it obtains nutrients and water from host plants whose roots it parasitizes.

Are there any side effects to Tongkat Ali?
Although most studies have not observed any adverse side effects, one study observed mild gastrointestinal symptoms in 6 out of the 50 participants. These symptoms included constipation, indigestion, abdominal pain, flatulence,nausea, vomiting, headaches, diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort. To avoid gastrointestinal irritations, take the supplement with food and wait at least 24 hours before the next dose. Avoid taking the supplement on an empty stomach or after a heavy meal.
